This is a conversation about a boy who has a Civil War project who needs some help from his friend.

Lawson: Oh, I just need a little help on my Civil War project. It is about weapons. Can you help me?
C.B.: Sure, I can help.
Lawson: O.k. What do you know?
C.B.: I know that they used cannons, guns, and muskets. Why don't you pick one.
Lawson: How about cannons?
C.B.: O.k. thats sounds easy. Well, they used cannon balls filled with pieces of metal, and when the ball hit the ground it exploded. Then the pieces of metal shot out to injure soldiers over a large area. They also used it to sink ships like the Roanoke in the Ironclad war. cannons would also be good for a sneak attack because all you had to do was find a good place then fire away. another way they might have used cannons was for

C.B.: O.k., well muskets are types of guns that at the end of the musket it has a bell like shape. And their were many other types of guns.Also if you ran out of bullets you could just stab the enemy with the spear that is at the end of the gun.

In the Civil War there were very old weapons that we barely use today in wars.
They used muskets,Springfield rifle,L39 Rifle,Enfield rifle,Colt Revolver(.44 and .36 caliber), The Remington,Starr Army Revolver, Le Mat Revolver, Kerr Revolver,Derringers,M32 Stick Grenade,Sovlet RGD -33 Stick Grenade.
The most common weapon used in the Civil War was the Springfield, and Enfield rifle. The Springfield Rifle is a brown one shot cock weapon.It is a .30 Cal. and a .50 Cal. They mostly used .30 Cal. but sometimes they used .50 Cal. The scope on the Springfield can zoom in really far and is about four inches above were the bullets come out.
The most common swords that were used in the Civil War were the Sabors, Swords, and the Bayonets.There were 250,000 soldiers injured from the Union during the war, only 922 were from Bayonets,Sabors, and Swords.
The most common artillery in the civil war were the field guns.A field gun was a longer barreled gun that was fired at a relatively flat trajectory.To shoot it you had yo put 5 degrees high.
The Howitzer was a short-barreled gun that fired longer than the Field Guns.Found by Kevin, Michael, and Chris.
